Captain Bud's First Mate.                                         Helen  joined our team in August of 2025 and with her vast knowledge in the field of education (Master's Degree in teaching from The University of South Carolina) and her awesome social media marketing skill-set, she is a most needed and welcome addition to our organization.  With her leadership and guidance she will lead us in our mission to help the youth population in and around the Charleston area to achieve their goals and dreams!  Her bio will be posted soon!

Bud started sailing at age 12 on Lake Moultrie in 1973 on a 12 foot cat-boat with 1 sail and has been sailing ever since!  He is an accomplished sailor, instructor and sailing coach.  He has been teaching and coaching students of all ages since the 1980's He currently holds master instructor credentials from U.S. Sail, The ASA and the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis where he also holds the highly coveted "Sailing Programs Directors certification!  He has participated in the Charleston to Bermuda Race on several occasions as both a Captain and crew-member. Bud's heartfelt passion for sailing has allowed him to folks from all over the world to pursue their dreams into the world of Sailing!
